Degree College:

The stepping stone to a brighter future.

Degree College

In the year 2005, Mahila Dakshata Samithi Degree (MDS) College for Women was established with Bachelors in Computers and Electronics. The Degree College was inaugurated by Sri. Sushil Kumar Shinde, former Governor of A.P.

Graduation holds immense significance for girls in India as it empowers them with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to break free from societal constraints and pursue their dreams.

In a country where gender disparities have historically limited women's opportunities, a college degree not only enhances their employ-ability but also serves as a symbol of empowerment and equality.

Significance of Graduation

for women in India

Later in 2016 this college was renamed as Mahila Dakshata Samithi & V.D. Bajaj Degree College for Women.

Education equips girls with the tools to challenge traditional gender roles, contribute to their families' economic well-being, and participate in the workforce on an equal footing with men.

Furthermore, it fosters independence, critical thinking, and a broader perspective, allowing them to make informed decisions about their lives and to advocate for their rights.
