Suman Junior College for Girls was established in 2001 with regular courses offered by Board of Intermediate Education.
This College was inaugurated by Dr. C. Ranga Rajan, the then Governor of Andhra Pradesh, and former RBI Governor.

Vocational Courses
In the year 2010, Vocational Courses like MPHW (F), MLT, CS were introduced.The formal inauguration of these vocational courses was done by Sri K. Rosaiah, the then Chief Minister of Andhra Padesh and Sri ESL Narsimhan, the then Governor of Andhra Pradesh.
These vocational courses are designed to provide vocational education or technical skills required to perform the tasks of a particular job to the students of Intermediate. Vocational colleges focus on job-specific training to students who are typically bound for one of the skilled professions, rather than providing formal academic training to students pursuing career in a particular discipline.
